General Objectives

At the end of the module, the learner should be able to;

a) Apply basic principles and provisions of national and international legal instruments

while working with children in need of care and protection

b) Apply strategies of discipline and behavior management to promote positive behaviors

among children in need of care and protection

c) Provide guidance,mentorship,basic counseling services and psychosocial support to

children in need of care and protection

d) Promote family reintegration and empowermering communities in child care and

protection

e) Provide leadership and management in given situations.
