Purpose of the Course:
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to African Traditional Religion and show how it informs African Christian Theology. Students should be able to appreciate the role of ATR in receiving of other religious beliefs.
Course Objective: By the end of the course the student should be able to
1. Explain the foundations of ATR
2. Describe the main concerns in African Christian Theology
3. Analyze the relationship between ATR and African Christian Theology
