Course Purpose
The purpose of this course is to explore how the gospels and Acts explain how Jesus the Son of David and the son of God was the long anticipated messiah. It therefore answers the question, how is Jesus fulfilling the story of Israel: How is he establishing the kingdom as anticipated in previous lectures.
Course Objectives: By the end of the course the student should be able to:
1. Explain how the gospels and Acts of Apostles are a fulfilling the story of Israel; namely the restoration of Israel, rebuilding the temple and establishment of the kingdom.
2. Explain how Jesus fits in the narrative and language of restoring Israel, her temple and the kingdom
3. Describe the restoration of Israel, her temple and kingdom is the restoration of the nations
