This module unit is designed to equip the trainee with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will
enable him/her to effectively counsel and support clients in a society. By the end of the unit, the
trainee should be able to:-
o Appreciate the importance of counseling services in society.
o explore counseling issues in society
o enhance awareness of ethical and professional issues in counseling
o Network with other organizations involved in counseling services.
