This module unit is intended to equip the learner with necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes and
values that enable him/her to appreciate and apply the relevant techniques in individual theories.
It shall enable them to analyze the trends, issues and development in the various theoretical
perspectives in counseling as may affect the client.
